Flamework Bead Artist & Creative Genius!
I never was one to fit into any particular "Slot" And my artistic endeavours are no exception. I do such a variety of things that it is hard to slip me into a category.
Flame working, and a variety of different methods of manipulating glass is and always will be my main passion. The glass is such a fascination of light, solid, depth, that it pulls you in. It tells you things you want to hear. Then it sparkles and smiles back. To melt the glass and create such tiny treasures! The process of making the beads come alive has been my consuming passion for the last 3 years. My Husband, Stephen, is an understanding and kind soul who affords me the freedom to pursue my passions. Although I still consider myself a "Newbie" at this I am growing by leaps and bounds and can now show my work proudly, and offer it up for sale with confidence. Check out the "Buy This stuff!" area that offers Beads, Jewelry, Watches, Gifts, and other creative things I think you will enjoy. Custom special orders are always welcome and I can create something personal just for you or that "hard to shop for" person on your gift list.
I have recently been experimenting with Slumping Glass ( the process of heating it and letting it "drape" over a mold) and am loving the results I am getting. You can see the gallery of these in the "Other Glass Projects" area.

Decorative painting in acrylics, both on objects and wall murals is another thing that I have enjoyed pursuing. My Mom used to tell me if it did not argue back- I would paint it! She is my biggest fan and supporter and I love her dearly for letting me explore that creative side of me as a child, and setting the basis for an artistic adult life that i totally love.
I sometimes say that I have raccoon or monkey blood flowing through my veins as I am fascinated by anything that sparkles. I add a bit of sparkle to almost everything.
The worlds of Fairy's, Mythological Creatures, Magic, and the like are alive in my mind and I incorporate them as often as possible into my creations. Flowers are another favorite and will come up quite often!
